Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique that utilizes a combination of radio waves, a magnetic field, and advanced computer technology to create detailed images of soft tissues, bones, muscles, organs, and nerves within the body.
Bone Densitometry (DEXA, DXA)
A bone density test is used to measure bone mineral content and density. It may be done using X-rays, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA or DXA), or a special CT scan that uses computer software to determine bone density of the hip or spine.
